“Ya ayyuh l-ladhīna āmanū in jā’akum fāsiqum bi-nabā’in fatabayyanū an tuṣībū qawmam bi-jahālatin fatuṣbiḥū ‘alā mā fa‘altum nādimīn” (Qur’ān 49:6) If when you hear something, you act by the influence of that person and hurt people, then you will regret it, seeing that the truth is not like that.
