BEING THANKFUL IS OBLIGATORY
To thank Allah is an obligation upon all of us, we ought to be grateful for everything. It is an obligation upon us to thank [Allah] for all His provision for us, because we cannot give enough gratitude even fora single provision. “We pray, we fast..” —but these are for your [own] interest. Allah is not in need of it. You should show gratitude.
